This process in the restoration industry is called "Contents Manipulation and Storage." This process enables a cleared worksite for the following:

Contents are separated into three categories: Damaged, Restorable, or Safe to Store. The determination of whether specific contents are damaged or restorable will be the decision of our on-site supervisor and the customer. The decision of salvageability will always be discussed with the customer, and the final decision rests with the customer.

If specific contents that have suffered damage are determined salvageable, then steps will be taken to save the item. Whether an item has been exposed to fire, water, smoke, or mold, a cleaning process will be required. All cleaning is conducted with eco-friendly cleansers with the utmost professional care to refresh all items to their pre-loss condition. Once the necessary cleaning has been completed, all items are then stored.

Whether items require cleaning or not, all items are inventoried and stored in climate-controlled, secured remote warehouses or mutually agreed upon on-site storage facilities. Most cleaning, transportation, and storage fees are paid for through insurance claims and typically not out of pocket for the customer. Contact your insurance provider for more information.

Once the restoration and rebuilding of your property is complete, a mutually agreed schedule is made to have our staff deliver all contents to your property and placed back to its original location via our inventory specialists.
