Once mitigation of damaged flooring, drywall or plaster has been completed, it's time to see what should be done for the repairs. Typically, insurance will only replace or repair "like for like" when it comes to repairs and rebuilds of loss damages. It's at this time in the process that a customer may explore the "Change Order" concept and utilize their own funds in conjunction with the insurance claim monies to restore their property in a new direction.
