08Do I need insurance approval before calling Vanguard?
No. You do not need pre-approval from your insurance company to begin emergency mitigation. Most policies require you to take immediate action to prevent further damage. Report the claim to your insurer as soon as possible, but do not delay emergency response waiting for approval. We begin work immediately and coordinate with your insurance carrier at the same time.
