Vanguard Environmental and Restoration has developed an emergency service of water removal utilizing state-of-the-art water extraction units which can extract gallons of water within minutes. Removing water from areas affected from water leaks, pipe bursts, or floods is extremely important to property and contents. With quick extraction and complete drying underway, long-term damage is reduced. Vanguard also employs structure drying machines and systems that can dry carpets and most hardwood floors, providing the possibility of saving extremely high replacement costs.

Mitigation encompasses the clearing or removing of all damaged material whether it is water-damaged drywall, fire-charred ceilings and framing, or smoke-damaged furniture and even mold-infested walls or flooring. The removal of all damaged or affected materials may also include mudslides and the removal of all soaked materials, or businesses and storefronts that have automobile damage or vandalism. Each situation is unique.

Contents are carefully separated into three categories: damaged, restorable, or safe to store. The determination of whether specific contents are damaged or restorable will be the decision of our on-site supervisor and the customer. The decision of salvageability will always be discussed with the customer, and the final decision rests with the customer.

If specific contents that have suffered damage are determined salvageable, then steps will be taken to save the item. Whether an item has been exposed to fire, water, smoke, or mold, a cleaning process will be required. All cleaning is conducted with eco-friendly cleansers with the utmost professional care to refresh all items to their pre-loss condition. Once the necessary cleaning has been completed, all items are then stored.

Whether items require cleaning or not, all items are inventoried and stored in climate-controlled, secured remote warehouses or mutually agreed upon on-site storage facilities. Most cleaning, transportation, and storage fees are paid for through insurance claims and typically not out of pocket for the customer.

Once the restoration and rebuilding of your property is complete, a mutually agreed schedule is made to have our staff deliver all contents to your property and placed back to its original location via our inventory specialists.
